Halttunen, Bump bring scoring runs into Belleville–Lehigh Valley rematch
Belleville hosts the Phantoms at CIBC Place on Friday after Lehigh Valley took the opener 2–0 in October.
Kasper Halttunen and the Belleville Senators will try to split the season series with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Friday at CIBC Place. Lehigh Valley won the first meeting 2–0 on Oct. 25. Friday is the Phantoms’ only visit to Belleville this regular season.
Halttunen scored three power-play goals in Sunday’s 4–1 win over the Toronto Marlies. It was his second hat trick of the season. Belleville held Toronto to 15 shots.
Alex Bump has scored in all six of his AHL appearances this season. The Lehigh Valley forward extended that run Wednesday with a power-play goal in a 5–4 overtime win at Laval.
Belleville lists the FloHockey broadcast for 7 p.m. ET.
