CIBC joins Belleville Sens for Hockey Fights Cancer Weekend
The Senators host Lehigh Valley and Providence on Nov. 6 and 7, with jersey and toque sales supporting cancer care at Belleville General Hospital.
The Belleville Senators will hold their Hockey Fights Cancer Weekend on Nov. 6 and 7 with CIBC as presenting partner, the club announced Monday. Fundraising will support the Dr. Douglas A. McIntosh Cancer Clinic at Belleville General Hospital.
Lehigh Valley visits on Friday and Providence on Saturday, with both games scheduled for 7 p.m. at CIBC Place.
Belleville will wear special warm-up jerseys that fans can bid on through DASH Online Auctions. The auction opens at 10 a.m. Nov. 6 and closes at 10 p.m. Nov. 12. The club is also selling commemorative toques for $30; some of the proceeds from those sales and the jerseys will go to the clinic.
The Senators will welcome guests who have received or provided care at the hospital. Club vice president of business operations John Mathers said CIBC’s involvement would help broaden the fundraiser’s reach.
