Goldeneyes name 28 players to 2026-27 training camp roster

Vancouver opens camp Nov. 18 at the PNE Agrodome, after the Women's World Championship wraps in Denmark.

The Vancouver Goldeneyes have named 28 players to their 2026-27 training camp roster, with camp opening Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the PNE Agrodome.

The date follows the 2026 IIHF Women's World Championship, which runs Nov. 6-16 in Denmark. The roster has 15 forwards, nine defenders and four goaltenders. Nineteen are already signed for the coming season, and 16 were with the Goldeneyes in their inaugural year.

Sarah Nurse, Sophie Jaques, Emerance Maschmeyer and Kristen Campbell are among the returning names. Five players on the list were selected in the 2026 PWHL Draft: forward Thea Johansson, defenders Jules Constantinople, Caroline Harvey and Ashley Messier, and goaltender Katie DeSa. Harvey and DeSa are among those already signed.

"Our players and staff are eager to get on the ice together for the first time this season at training camp," said general manager Alison Izzi. "We know we have a strong roster in our signed players and are looking forward to seeing where we can add even more depth."

Vancouver will play two preseason scrimmages at America First Center in Henderson, Nevada. The first is Monday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. PCT against the Minnesota Frost. The second is Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 1 p.m. PCT against PWHL Las Vegas.

The regular season opens at home on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. PCT at the Pacific Coliseum against the Seattle Torrent. Single-game tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. PT.
