Ducks Open Homestand Against Skidding Canucks in Anaheim

Anaheim returns home after snapping its losing streak, while Vancouver brings a 10-game skid into Honda Center.

Anaheim begins a three-game homestand against Vancouver on Tuesday, looking to follow Saturday’s comeback win with another victory. The Ducks enter at 5-6-0; the Canucks are 2-10-1 and have gone 10 games without a win.

The game at Honda Center starts at 7 p.m. PT. Anaheim lists Prime Video and FOXLA+ as its television outlets, while Vancouver lists Sportsnet.

The Ducks recovered from a 2-0 first-period deficit to beat Philadelphia 5-4 on Saturday. Leo Carlsson contributed a goal and an assist, and Tristan Luneau finished with a goal and two assists for his first three-point NHL game.

Coach Joel Quenneville indicated that he would probably keep the same group against Vancouver after making frequent lineup changes during Anaheim’s losing stretch. Lukas Dostal will start in goal for Anaheim.

Quenneville also provided updates on three injured Ducks. Pavel Mintyukov remains day to day with a lower-body injury, Ian Moore has begun skating as he works back from a lower-body injury, and Troy Terry is nearing a return following offseason hip surgery.

Elias Pettersson leads Vancouver with 13 points, including nine assists. His four goals share the team lead with Paul Cotter and Jonathan Lekkerimaki.
