Quinn Hughes says his appreciation for Vancouver will endure regardless of the crowd’s reaction when he returns with the Minnesota Wild on Sunday, Oct. 25. The former Canucks captain spoke Saturday ahead of his first visit to Rogers Arena since the clubs traded him in December 2025, NHL.com reported.

Hughes said he would deal with the reception as it unfolded and remained grateful for his time in Vancouver. The Canucks’ official schedule lists Sunday’s game at 7 p.m. Pacific, or 10 p.m. Eastern.

The 27-year-old also indicated that a contract agreement with Minnesota could be approaching, while saying he was enjoying his time with the team. He has not announced a new deal. His current contract expires after this season, and he has been eligible to sign an extension since July 1.
