Jacob Quillan has been recalled by the Vancouver Canucks and is set to face Toronto on Saturday, the club’s website reported Friday. Vancouver acquired the centre from the Maple Leafs on Oct. 15.

Quillan scored five goals and added two assists in five games for the Abbotsford Canucks following the trade. Abbotsford won each of those games, according to the feature on Vancouver’s website.

Quillan said he welcomed the chance to establish himself in Vancouver after playing 24 NHL games with Toronto over the previous two seasons.
