Montreal defeated Buffalo 4-3 at Bell Centre on Saturday, Oct. 17, when Cole Caufield scored his second goal of the game 54 seconds into overtime.

Bolduc and Alexandre Texier also scored for the Canadiens. Jacob Fowler made 23 saves, while Luukkonen stopped 30 for the Sabres.

Josh Norris, Jack Quinn and Tage Thompson scored for Buffalo. Thompson brought the Sabres level at 3-3 at 10:12 of the third period.
