The Montreal Canadiens will collect non-perishable food at Canadiens Plaza outside the Bell Centre from 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, before their home game against San Jose. The collection supports La Tablée des Chefs and its work against food insecurity in Quebec.
Fans seeking information about the organization can also visit Section 116 inside the arena, the club said in its Tuesday game-day announcement.
The food drive accompanies the first of five special charity raffles in the Canadiens' 2026-27 programme. That draw runs through Oct. 20, with all profits benefiting La Tablée des Chefs. The club also scheduled food collections before its Oct. 13 and 17 home games.
Montreal announced the expanded programme on Oct. 9. Each fundraiser will support a different Quebec organization and include an accompanying community initiative. The club said it would identify the other four beneficiaries in the following weeks.
Last season's four special raffles raised nearly $350,000 for True Patriot Love, Old Brewery Mission, the Jewish General Hospital Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society.
Tickets for the first draw are available through the [Canadiens raffle page](https://www.canadiens.com/raffle).
