Bruins announce Military Appreciation Night for Nov. 2
Boston’s TD Garden event will include donated tickets, a recognition moment and fundraising for military families.
The Boston Bruins will hold Military Appreciation Night at TD Garden on Monday, Nov. 2, when they play the Vegas Golden Knights at 7 p.m.
Season ticket holders have contributed tickets for active-duty personnel and veterans through the USO, Home Base and other military organizations. Boston Warriors Hockey members will attend, and some Bruins players will meet veterans after the game.
Fans can fill out “I Salute” cards in the arena and show them during a second-period recognition moment. The team will also recognize two service dogs, Bo and Chrissy, whose training received support from the Bruins Foundation.
An auction of signed military jerseys will run from Nov. 2 to Nov. 10. Jersey raffles and the Foundation’s 50/50 draw will also be part of the event, with the latter benefiting the Military Friends Foundation.
