Wolf Pack seek to end four-game skid in Charlotte rematch

Hartford returns to Bojangles Coliseum on Saturday after conceding a late shorthanded winner in Friday’s 2-1 loss.

The Hartford Wolf Pack face the Charlotte Checkers again Saturday, Oct. 17, with a four-game losing streak to break. The rematch at Bojangles Coliseum starts at 6 p.m. ET and streams on AHLTV on FloHockey.

Hartford is 3-4-0-0 after Friday’s 2-1 defeat, while Charlotte has improved to 3-2-0-0 with consecutive victories. The Wolf Pack won their first three games before the current skid.

Friday’s deciding moment came while Hartford had the man advantage. Hunter St. Martin finished a pass from John Beecher at 16:14 of the third period for a shorthanded goal, leaving the Wolf Pack unable to recover.

Bryce McConnell-Barker had brought Hartford level in the second period after Donovan Sebrango opened the scoring for Charlotte. The defeat ended the Wolf Pack’s unbeaten start on the road, which had stood at 3-0-0-0.

Hartford will return home to face the Providence Bruins on Oct. 23.
