The Minnesota Wild will host Hockey Fights Cancer Awareness Night, presented by Regions Hospital, when the Columbus Blue Jackets visit on Sunday, Oct. 18. The game starts at 5 p.m. CT and will be available on Wild+ and KFAN FM 100.3.

The Wild said the evening will recognise cancer patients, survivors and charities, with themed activities during the game. Fans attending are invited to wear lavender.

The event continues Minnesota's support for the NHL and NHLPA initiative. During the 2025-26 season, Marcus and Nick Foligno's Foligno Face-Off campaign raised more than $200,000 for breast cancer research. The brothers organised the fundraiser in memory of their mother, Janis, and the proceeds supported a research grant in Minnesota through the V Foundation and Hockey Fights Cancer.

Marcus and Nick remain Hockey Fights Cancer Champions. The initiative began in 1998 and, according to the Wild's announcement, has raised more than $53 million overall. More than $21.3 million of that total came during the past three seasons of its partnership with the V Foundation and AstraZeneca. Donations can be made through [Hockey Fights Cancer](https://www.hockeyfightscancer.com/).
