Tucson carries seven-game point streak into Ontario series
The Roadrunners have points in seven straight games as the Reign prepare to play without recalled scoring leader Martin Chromiak.
The Tucson Roadrunners will finish their five-game road trip with games against the Ontario Reign on Friday and Saturday at Toyota Arena. Tucson has four wins and an overtime loss in its five road games this season, according to the club’s preview.
The Roadrunners extended their point streak to seven games with Wednesday’s 5-1 win at Coachella Valley. They enter the series at 5-2-2-0; Ontario is 5-4-0-0 after a 4-1 loss at Henderson.
Ontario will be without Martin Chromiak, who was recalled by the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday. He led the Reign with six goals and eight points in nine games. The Kings also sent Jared Wright to Ontario.
Friday’s game starts at 7 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, followed by Saturday’s game at 3 p.m. MST. Both games will stream on AHLtv through FloHockey.
