Thomas Harley played a season-high 28:31 on Thursday as the Dallas Stars lost 2-1 in a shootout to Columbus. The defenceman logged nearly four minutes more than his season average with Miro Heiskanen out with an upper-body injury.

Dallas still lists Heiskanen as day to day ahead of Saturday’s game against the San Jose Sharks at American Airlines Center. The Stars are scheduled to host the Sharks at 7 p.m. CT.

Harley recorded 50 points in 78 games in 2024–25, when Heiskanen missed 32 games. Dallas used Harley on its top power-play unit during Heiskanen’s absence that season.
