Sharks reassign Libor Hajek to San Jose Barracuda

The defenceman returns to the AHL after a recall in which he did not appear for the Sharks.

The San Jose Sharks reassigned defenceman Libor Hajek to the San Jose Barracuda on Wednesday, the club’s public relations account confirmed.

Hajek did not play an NHL game during the recall, according to Pro Hockey Rumors. San Jose had brought him up on Oct. 28.

Before that recall, he had a goal and an assist in eight games for the Barracuda, the outlet reported. He joined the Sharks organization this past offseason after playing for HC Dynamo Pardubice in the Czech league.
