The San Jose Sharks took vintage cars to their teal carpet arrival at SAP Center on Thursday, Oct. 1, ahead of the home opener against the Florida Panthers.

Fans greeted players riding in hot rods and convertibles. Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith, who are roommates, travelled in the same car.

Alexander Wennberg and Tyler Toffoli arrived together in a car that bounced on its hydraulics as the crowd cheered. The players held on during the display before stepping out to meet fans.

Along the teal carpet, Sharks players signed autographs and posed for photographs. Thursday's game was San Jose's first of the regular season.
