Seguin opened the scoring in the first period. Matthew Schaefer answered for the Islanders during 4-on-4 play, but Robertson restored the Dallas lead 49 seconds later. Seguin and Johnston each finished with a goal and an assist, while Roope Hintz supplied two assists. Bo Horvat had two assists for New York, and Ilya Sorokin made 32 saves.
