The Nashville Predators revealed the specialty patch honouring Dolly Parton on Tuesday. They will wear it on their Hometown Remix jerseys during warmups Saturday, Nov. 7, against the St. Louis Blues.

Each jersey will also carry "Dolly" on the back along with the player's number. The Predators will sign them, and the Nashville Predators Foundation will auction them off through the remainder of the Hometown Remix games. Proceeds go to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, through the Governor's Early Literacy Foundation, and to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

"When working on the design for our jerseys, Dolly was one of our inspirations, given her legacy and how she was a trailblazer for so many in the country music industry," Predators CEO Sean Henry said.

Pekka Rinne visited patients at Monroe Carell wearing a jersey with the patch and "Dolly" on the back ahead of Tuesday's Hockey Fights Cancer game. He will wear it for a ceremonial puck drop as the club honours his work with the 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund. Rinne heads to Toronto for his Hockey Hall of Fame induction on Monday. That jersey is up for auction now by texting Rinne to 76278, and bidding closes at the start of the third period Saturday.

Fans can also pick up pins and patches of the logo for a $9.25 donation at the Foundation's table at section 106/107 and at the Nashville Locker Room during home games starting Saturday, while supplies last. Those proceeds benefit the same two causes. The Foundation will run a book drive at Hometown Remix games as well, with children's books collected at the 106/107 table for the Imagination Library.

The NHL and Fanatics unveiled all 32 Hometown Remix jerseys Monday. Nashville's celebrate the music, artists and fashion trends of Music City, and the team will wear them 10 times this season, starting Saturday against the Blues.
