Justin Brazeau has returned to the Pittsburgh Penguins following a conditioning loan with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, NHL.com reported Monday. He is available to make his NHL season debut against Vegas on Tuesday.

The forward recorded one assist in two AHL games while preparing to return from a lower-body injury sustained during the preseason. Pro Hockey Rumors also reported his return Monday.

Brazeau said the stint gave him an opportunity to shake off rust after time away from games. The Penguins face Vegas at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, according to the NHL Status Report.
