Owen Power wins it in overtime as Sabres rally past Wild

Buffalo overturned a 2-0 deficit in the third period before Owen Power scored the overtime winner in a 3-2 victory over Minnesota at KeyBank Center on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Jiri Kulich set up Power in the slot, and the defenceman beat Jesper Wallstedt with a wrist shot at 4:22 of overtime.
Colten Ellis stopped 18 shots as the Sabres improved to 2-1-0 through 3 games. Wallstedt finished with 25 saves for the Wild, who moved to 2-0-1 through 3 games.
Minnesota's goals came less than two minutes apart in the second period. Danila Yurov converted Jared Spurgeon's pass on the power play at 13:53, and Maxim Shabanov scored at 15:38 after Quinn Hughes carried the puck into the offensive zone and found him.
Noah Ostlund began Buffalo's comeback at 3:55 of the third period. Power's pass towards the back door bounced off Blake Coleman's skate and then Ostlund's leg before crossing the goal line. Tage Thompson made it 2-2 at 9:38, finishing a pass from Peyton Krebs in the slot.
Nick Foligno departed late in the first period with an upper-body injury and did not return for Minnesota.
