The Toronto Maple Leafs rolled past the Edmonton Oilers 7-2 on Saturday, their fourth straight win, behind two goals from William Nylander, one of them the 300th of his career.

Toronto (7-4-2) also got goals from Jack Roslovic, Auston Matthews, Troy Stecher, Zack MacEwen and Vinni Lettieri. Anthony Stolarz made 30 saves.

Stecher's goal came 54 seconds after Toronto went up 2-0. Kirill Marchenko slid a pass into the slot and Stecher got his stick on it in stride for his second goal of the season in as many games.

Leon Draisaitl scored twice for Edmonton (8-2-1), which saw a three-game winning streak end. His 12th goal, which tied Kirill Kaprizov for the league lead, gave him a third consecutive two-goal game and stretched his goal streak to six games, in which he has nine goals. Connor McDavid had two assists and has points in all 11 of the Oilers' games, for 33 points in that span. He came in scoring at 3.10 points per game.

Matthews and Marchenko both extended their season-opening road point streaks to five games. Matthews now needs one point to reach 800 for his career. That would make him the fastest player in Maple Leafs history to get there, and the NHL's third-quickest American skater.
