Nick Lardis expected to miss one to two weeks for IceHogs

Rockford says the forward sustained a lower-body injury on Nov. 1.

The Rockford IceHogs expect Nick Lardis to be sidelined for one to two weeks with a lower-body injury, the AHL club announced Tuesday.

The medical update, issued by team physician Dr. Geoff Van Thiel, said Lardis was injured on Nov. 1. Chicago Hockey Now reported that he left during the first period of Rockford’s 4-3 victory over the Texas Stars that day.

Lardis had produced three goals and four assists in seven games for the IceHogs since his Oct. 13 assignment from Chicago, according to Chicago Hockey Now.
