The Grand Rapids Griffins will hold their 25th annual School Day Game on Wednesday, Nov. 11, when they host the Rockford IceHogs at Van Andel Arena. The puck drops at 11 a.m.
Corewell Health presents the event. An educational program starts at 10 a.m., and the club said this year's edition will lean heavily on STEM exhibits. West Michigan organizations taking part include the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, Bricks 4 Kids and Mission Design & Automation. Educators can register a school group with the Griffins, whose group sales staff coordinates pricing, tickets and game-day details for each group.
Arena doors open at 10 a.m. for the general public and at 9:45 a.m. for season-ticket holders.
The date is also a Winning Wednesday, presented by Gun Lake Casino Resort. After Grand Rapids beat the Texas Stars on Nov. 4, fans who attended that game can trade their ticket stub for a free ticket to the Nov. 11 game or the Nov. 18 game.
The School Day Game is also listed among the key dates on the Griffins' 2026-27 promotional schedule.
