Moose prospects get NHL auditions in Jets' 51-player camp
Brayden Yager, Colby Barlow, Thomas Milic and Elias Salomonsson headline the Manitoba-connected group competing at Winnipeg's nine-day camp.
The Winnipeg Jets have invited 51 players to their 2026 training camp, which runs from Thursday, September 17 through Friday, September 25 at hockey for all centre. The official roster includes six goaltenders, 18 defensemen and 27 forwards.
For Manitoba Moose followers, the camp offers a first look at which recent AHL players can push for NHL work. Brayden Yager and Colby Barlow are among the forwards in camp after spending last season with Manitoba.
Thomas Milic leads the Manitoba-connected goaltenders after going 20-13-6 with a .905 save percentage in 41 AHL games. Domenic DiVincentiis also earned an invitation after posting a .955 save percentage across five playoff appearances for the Moose.
On defense, Elias Salomonsson returns after splitting last season between Winnipeg and Manitoba. Alfons Freij finished the year with the Moose after playing in Sweden, and Henry Thrun arrives after helping the Toronto Marlies win the Calder Cup.
Eighth overall pick Viggo Björck adds another major prospect to the competition. He recorded 15 points in 42 SHL games for Djurgårdens IF and has said he wants to make Winnipeg's opening roster. If he does not, Manitoba is one of his development options for the coming season.
