
Monsters Pack 20th-Season Schedule With Giveaways and All-Star Weekend
Cleveland opens Oct. 2 against Grand Rapids and will host the 2027 AHL All-Star Classic during a promotion-heavy anniversary season.
The Cleveland Monsters will open their 20th home schedule Oct. 2 against the Grand Rapids Griffins at Rocket Arena, beginning a 2026-27 promotional calendar that includes 10 giveaways, five specialty jerseys and the AHL All-Star Classic.
The first 5,000 fans at the home opener will receive a Monsters logo magnet schedule. The club will also celebrate its 20th anniversary on Oct. 16.
Player-themed giveaways include a Luca Pinelli teddy bear snow globe Dec. 11, a nesting doll featuring Luca Del Bel Belluz, Luca Marrelli and Pinelli on Dec. 28, a Laila Edwards bobblehead Feb. 27 and a Roman Ahcan garden gnome April 2. The April 10 Fan Salute Night includes a "Fear the Depths" T-shirt.
Cleveland's five specialty-jersey dates are Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Nov. 28, Ugly Sweater Night on Dec. 18, Rainbow Babies & Children's Day on Jan. 24, the Corned Beef Classic on March 5 and Star Wars Night on March 27. Blue Jackets-inspired jerseys will also return for eight home games.
The largest event on the calendar is the 2027 AHL All-Star Classic. The Skills Competition is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 7, followed by the Hall of Fame ceremony and All-Star Challenge on Monday, Feb. 8. Both on-ice events will take place at Rocket Arena.
Weekend matinees will become Monsters Family Days with children's activities and themed entertainment. The schedule includes Hot Wheels Game Day on Nov. 22, plus Peanuts and Barbie theme dates.
Other events include the Oct. 31 Monster Mash, the Dec. 19 Teddy Bear Toss, Pride Night on Jan. 7, Women in Hockey Night on Jan. 10 and Hip-Hop & Hockey: A Black Heritage Celebration on Feb. 26.
The club will continue its 1-2-3 Friday promotion for 11 Friday games and hold a toy drive from Nov. 21 through Dec. 2 and a food drive from March 5 through March 27.
