Tampa Bay moves to 8-0-0 at home with a 4-1 win, while Chicago loses its fifth straight.
Ilya Mikheyev scored twice against his former team Thursday as the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1 at Benchmark International Arena to stay unbeaten at home.
Mikheyev put Tampa Bay up 2-0 late in the first period, shooting through a screen by Erik Cernak. The two combined again in the third when Mikheyev tipped in a pass from Cernak for a 4-0 lead. Cernak finished with two assists.
Victor Hedman opened the scoring on the power play at 4:12 of the first. Ryan McDonagh added a goal early in the third, and Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 25 of 26 shots.
