Lightning to display three trophies before Saturday home opener
Fans can see the Jack Adams, Vezina and Hart trophies from 3 to 4 p.m. ET before Tampa Bay hosts Washington at 7 p.m.
Tampa Bay will display the Jack Adams Award, Vezina Trophy and Hart Trophy for fans on Ford Thunder Alley from 3 to 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 3, before its home opener against Washington at Benchmark International Arena. The game begins at 7 p.m. ET.
The trophies recognise head coach Jon Cooper, goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy and forward Nikita Kucherov for their achievements last season. The Lightning announced the pregame plans Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Players will make their Blue Carpet arrivals through Thunder Alley between 3:45 and 4:30 p.m. The outdoor area, Cigar City Taproom and Bolts Bay open at 3 p.m., with food and drinks available. The Tampa Bay Sports Store opens earlier, at noon, with merchandise for the 2026-27 season.
Florida band Rohna performs on the Thunder Alley stage at 4:30 p.m. A Scripps broadcast will also take place outside the arena.
Tampa Bay recommends that fans take their seats between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. for the pregame presentation. Introductions are scheduled for 6:45 p.m., and the club says it has added new elements to the show for this season.
