Kiiskinen scores three as Griffins beat Wolves 5-1

Jesse Kiiskinen scored three goals and added an assist as the Grand Rapids Griffins defeated the Chicago Wolves 5-1 on Sunday, Oct. 11.

Kiiskinen opened the scoring at 5:45 of the first period and struck again at 11:49. He completed his hat trick 1:20 into the second period, giving Grand Rapids a 3-0 lead.

The 21-year-old finished with three goals on three shots and a plus-4 rating. CBS Sports reported that he has five goals, two assists and 10 shots through five games.

Grand Rapids improved to 3-1-1-0, while Chicago remained without a point at 0-4-0-0.
