Kapanen and Matheson take therapy days at Canadiens practice

Both players missed Montreal’s Oct. 12 session ahead of games on consecutive nights.

Oliver Kapanen and Mike Matheson missed the Montreal Canadiens’ Oct. 12 practice at the Bell Centre. The club said both players took a therapy day.

Montreal practised on Canadian Thanksgiving ahead of games on consecutive nights. Alexandre Carrier, Noah Dobson, Adam Engstrom, Kaiden Guhle, Lane Hutson and Arber Xhekaj rotated through defensive drills. Florian Xhekaj and goaltenders Jakub Dobes and Jacob Fowler also took part.
