The New York Islanders said Saturday that defenceman Ryan Pulock had seen team doctors following his upper-body injury against Minnesota on Thursday. The club was awaiting more information on his condition.

In the same injury update, coach Pete DeBoer said Matias Maccelli had started skating again. The forward has been sidelined by a lower-body injury since Oct. 17; the club had initially estimated a two-to-four-week absence.

Cal Ritchie remains off the ice following his own lower-body injury on Oct. 17. His initial recovery estimate was four to six weeks. Mathew Barzal continues to skate separately, with no change to his status.
