The Carolina Hurricanes used their official social media account to take a shot at Philadelphia’s sports teams after Sunday’s 4-1 win over the Flyers.

On Monday, Oct. 12, the club posted: “We've won more games in Philly in the last nine days than the Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies combined this month.” The message appeared in a post from the Hurricanes’ account reproduced by ESPN.

Carolina’s victory was its fifth in a row. Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov each contributed a goal and an assist, while Pyotr Kochetkov stopped 18 of 19 shots. The Flyers were still seeking their first win of the season.
