Hurricanes Assign Gleb Trikozov to AHL Chicago

Carolina included the forward in its Thursday roster cut, reducing its NHL training camp group to 40 players.

The Carolina Hurricanes announced Thursday that forward Gleb Trikozov will be assigned to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

The move was part of a roster cut that left Carolina with 40 players in NHL training camp: 23 forwards, 13 defencemen and four goaltenders. The club's release did not give a medical update on Trikozov.
