Four Roadrunners Regulars Head To Mammoth Rookie Camp

Tuesday's rookie camp roster from the Utah Mammoth, posted on social media, has plenty of familiar names for Tucson fans, including forwards Daniil But and Owen Allard, defenceman Artem Duda and goaltender Michael Hrabal.
Allard played 69 games with the Roadrunners last season and put up eight goals and 11 assists. His spot in the lineup moved around nightly depending on what head coach Steve Potvin needed, but the 22-year-old forward's decision-making tightened up as the year went on. He also won fittest player at Mammoth development camp in each of the last two seasons.
But split the season between levels. He had three goals and four assists in 29 games for the Mammoth, and 19 goals and 20 assists in 41 games for Tucson, where he played on the top two lines and the power play.
Hrabal signed his three-year entry-level contract with Utah in March 2026 and joined the Roadrunners on a pro tryout once UMass finished its season. He went 3-1-1 in five games with a 2.96 goals-against average and a.897 save percentage. Over 82 games with the Minutemen from 2023 through 2025-26, he posted a 2.26 GAA and a.927 save percentage.
Duda has been in Tucson since 2024-25 and has played 97 games there across two seasons, with eight goals and 34 assists. A leg injury ended his 2025-26 campaign before the halfway point. If he stays healthy, he projects as an all-situations piece on the Roadrunners blue line.
Tucson's own preseason showcase is next on the calendar. Tucson Arena hosts the Southwest Showdown on September 26 and 27: four games in two days featuring the Roadrunners, Texas Stars, Henderson Silver Knights and Colorado Eagles.
