Charge Teammates Michela Cava And Emma Greco Are Engaged
The Ottawa forward and defender announced their engagement on social media Sept. 9, adding to a growing list of engaged PWHL players.
Michela Cava and Emma Greco, teammates on the Ottawa Charge, announced their engagement on social media Sept. 9. The location tagged on the post points to Maui.
The two have shared teams in Toronto, Minnesota, Vancouver and Ottawa. They first played together in 2022-23 with the PHF's Toronto Six and won the Isobel Cup with that group in 2023. The following season they were part of PWHL Minnesota's inaugural Walter Cup win. In 2024-25 they were split up, with Greco in Boston and Cava staying in Minnesota, before both signed with the expansion Vancouver Goldeneyes.
That stop was brief. Cava, 32, and Greco, 31, were moved to Ottawa in a six-player trade and helped the Charge reach the Walter Cup Final.
They are not the only couple in the league. Emily Clark and Jaime Bourbonnais got engaged this summer, as did Toronto defenders Allie Munroe and Kali Flanagan. Anna Kjellbin and Ronja Savolainen are also engaged, and Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey were married in September 2024.
