Capitals loan Jonny Brodzinski to Hershey
Brodzinski returns to the Bears after contributing one assist in two appearances for Washington.
The Washington Capitals sent forward Jonny Brodzinski to the AHL’s Hershey Bears on Wednesday, Oct. 21, general manager Chris Patrick announced.
Washington recalled Brodzinski on Oct. 17. He contributed one assist in two NHL appearances during that stint.
Brodzinski has two goals and three assists in four games with Hershey this season. Those five points leave him tied for second on the Bears, according to the Capitals.
He joined Washington as a free agent on July 1 after six seasons in the New York Rangers organization. Last season, he finished with six goals and 10 assists in 55 games for New York.
