Blues launch The Training Room podcast with Joey Vitale
Brandon Carlo and Robert Thomas appear in the first two episodes, with new instalments planned every other Wednesday.
The St. Louis Blues announced The Training Room on Wednesday, a podcast hosted by Blue Note+ analyst Joey Vitale that takes fans into conversations with players, alumni and other guests.
The club said the first two episodes are available: a pilot with defenceman Brandon Carlo and a second episode with captain Robert Thomas.
New instalments are scheduled every other Wednesday during the season. Fans can find the show on the Blues’ YouTube channel and podcast services including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon Music.
Vitale and former Blues defenceman Robert Bortuzzo chose the name to evoke the informal conversations players have in an NHL training room. Vitale said the aim is to let fans learn more about the personalities behind the players.
