Blue Jackets expand over-the-air TV package to 10 games

Columbus increases the package from six games last season, with stations in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky.

Columbus fans will have 10 opportunities to watch Blue Jackets regular-season games on over-the-air television this season. The club announced the package Monday with Sinclair Broadcast Group and Gray Media.

WWHO CW Columbus will carry the simulcasts in central Ohio. The station is also offered by Spectrum, DIRECTV, YouTubeTV and Breezeline, according to the announcement.

Gray Media coverage extends to Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton and Lima in Ohio; Lexington and Louisville in Kentucky; and Charleston/Huntington and Bluefield/Beckley in West Virginia. Stations listed by the club include WUAB, WXIX, WZCD, WFND, WKYT, WSAZ and WVVA. In Louisville, the broadcasts will be on WDRB or WBKI. Viewers should check local listings for individual games.

The number of over-the-air games has increased each year: Columbus offered five in 2024-25 and six last season. Marc Gregory, the club’s vice president of business intelligence and broadcasting, said the expanded arrangement gives fans more ways to watch.

The simulcasts are part of the Blue Jackets Hockey Network. Outside games reserved for the NHL’s national partners, the club also lists Spectrum, DIRECTV, DIRECTV Stream, Fubo and Prime Video as viewing options. Broadcast updates are available at BlueJackets.com/TuneIn.
