Rasmus Andersson urged Calgary Flames supporters to give the team's rebuild time, telling Sportsnet that early losses should be viewed alongside the changes the organization has chosen to make.

The Vegas Golden Knights defenceman said he had seen demands for coaching changes from fans who also wanted Calgary to rebuild. He questioned expectations of immediate success and said supporters needed to be patient.

Andersson also backed Flames coach Ryan Huska and his staff, praising their effort and preparation. He told Sportsnet he wanted former teammate Mikael Backlund and Calgary's other players to succeed.

Vegas defeated Calgary 6-2 on Thursday, Oct. 15, with Mark Stone scoring three goals in the third period.
