Wild recall veteran forward Tyler Pitlick from Iowa

Minnesota brings the 34-year-old Minneapolis native up from the AHL ahead of Thursday's game in Tampa Bay.

The Minnesota Wild have recalled forward Tyler Pitlick from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League, the club announced Wednesday.

Pitlick, 34, has a goal and two assists for three points through two games with Iowa this season. He also has five shots on goal and a plus-1 rating, and he is tied for the team lead in points and assists.

The Minneapolis native has played 452 NHL games over 11 seasons, scoring 58 goals and 111 points. His stops include Edmonton, Dallas, Philadelphia, Arizona, Calgary, Montreal, St. Louis, the New York Rangers and Minnesota. Edmonton drafted him in the second round, 31st overall, in 2010. The Wild signed him as a free agent on July 2, 2025, and he wears No. 19.

Minnesota plays at Tampa Bay on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m. CT.
