Texas Prospects Feature as Dallas Sweeps St. Louis
Arttu Hyry scored in Saturday's opener and Dallas won both games 2-1 in its preseason home-and-home with the Blues.
Dallas opened its 2026-27 preseason Saturday, Sept. 19, with a 2-1 road win over St. Louis, then won the home rematch 2-1 on Monday, Sept. 21. The two games formed a home-and-home sweep of the Blues.
Arttu Hyry scored 16 seconds into Saturday's opener, and Jack Becker put Dallas ahead with a late second-period goal. Remi Poirier stopped 11 of 12 shots over the first two periods before Brandon Halverson stopped all 12 he faced in relief. Texas Stars prospect Emil Hemming logged 16:29 with two shots and a minus-one rating.
Thomas Harley and Nils Lundkvist scored in Monday's rematch. Casey DeSmith made 30 saves while playing the full game, according to the Dallas Stars. Dallas is scheduled to continue its preseason with a Wednesday-Friday home-and-home against Minnesota.
