Senators loan 10 to Belleville, place eight more on waivers
Ottawa reduced its training camp roster to 29 players in a Sunday roster update.
The Ottawa Senators loaned 10 players to their AHL affiliate, the Belleville Senators, and placed eight more on waivers for the purpose of assignment to Belleville, the NHL club announced Sunday.
Ottawa sent Djibril Toure, Oskar Pettersson, Kasper Halttunen, Tomas Hamara, Eskild Bakke Olsen, Matthew Andonovski, Gabriel Eliasson, Lucas Ellinas, Jackson Parsons and Kevin Reidler directly to Belleville.
The waiver group is Samuel Blais, Philip Tomasino, Samuel Bolduc, Tyler Boucher, Xavier Bourgault, Philippe Daoust, Ryan Suzuki and Christian Kyrou. Their assignments depend on clearing waivers.
The moves reduced Ottawa's camp roster to 29 players: two goaltenders, 11 defencemen and 16 forwards.
