Sarah Nurse is getting her own reality series. The Vancouver Goldeneyes forward will star in "Sarah's Side Quests," one of several creator-driven shows announced by YouTube Canada, The Canadian Press reported Friday.

Scheduled for release in 2027, the series will follow Nurse as she learns new skills from experts in different fields. She said the premise reflects her desire to keep learning and try activities outside hockey.

"It's a way to showcase things that I've always been curious about, always had a love for, a passion for, but also a way to step outside my comfort zone and show people that not everything is perfect," Nurse said. "You don't just pick things up super, super easily. A lot of times it takes a lot to master a craft or master something. But it also shouldn't discourage you from just trying something new."

The same YouTube Canada slate includes "Virtuoso," a podcast hosted by five-time Olympic medallist Tessa Virtue. The show is due later this year and will feature conversations with athletes, artists, scientists and entrepreneurs about performing under pressure. Virtue's former ice dance partner Scott Moir is among the guests.

Nicole Bell, head of YouTube Canada, connected the projects to the growth of women's sports in the country and described Nurse as an "incredible personality."

Nurse is under contract with Vancouver for the 2026-27 PWHL season. The Goldeneyes listed her among their signed forwards in a Sept. 1 roster update.
