Sabres loan Conor Sheary to Rochester pending waivers

The forward practised with Buffalo on Tuesday after spending time on injured reserve.

The Buffalo Sabres loaned forward Conor Sheary to the AHL's Rochester Americans on Tuesday, pending waiver clearance, the club announced in its roster update.

Sheary had been on injured reserve after taking a hit in Buffalo's Sept. 21 preseason opener. He practised with the Sabres on Tuesday before the loan, according to the club.
