Rockford IceHogs Look to Rebound With Young Core

Kevin Korchinski remains a prominent player in Rockford's development picture. The defenseman recorded 23 points in 45 AHL games last season and represented the IceHogs at the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic.
Rockford opens its 72-game schedule at home against the Milwaukee Admirals on Oct. 3. Fifty-eight games are against Central Division opponents, including 12 meetings with the Chicago Wolves.
The season is Rockford's 20th in the AHL. The IceHogs remain the primary development affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks.
