Report: Blackhawks agree to five-year Oliver Moore extension
Sportsnet reports a $21.25 million agreement that would begin in 2027-28, after the forward's entry-level contract expires.
The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to a five-year, $21.25 million extension with forward Oliver Moore, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Thursday. The reported average annual value is $4.25 million.
The extension would begin in 2027-28. Moore remains under his entry-level contract for the 2026-27 season, according to the Blackhawks' announcement of that deal in March 2025.
Moore, 21, made his NHL debut late in the 2024-25 season and recorded four assists in nine games. He played 51 games in 2025-26, scoring five goals and adding 14 assists, according to NHL statistics. Chicago selected him 19th overall in the 2023 draft.
The reported agreement would keep Moore under contract through 2031-32. Chicago has not yet issued its own announcement of the extension.
