Red Wings Set Preseason TV, Streaming and Radio Plans

The Red Wings, Detroit SportsNet and Audacy released Detroit's local television, streaming and radio schedules for the 2026-27 preseason, a four-game slate that begins Monday, Sept. 21 in Columbus.

The two road games come first. Detroit visits the Blue Jackets on Monday at 7 p.m. and the Penguins on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. Both will be streamed live on DetroitRedWings.com, free for fans inside the club's television territory, which covers the state of Michigan plus Lucas County, Ohio.

Detroit SportsNet, the new television home of Red Wings hockey, starts its production with the two preseason home dates: the Sabres on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. and a rematch with Columbus on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. Fans in the home market can get DSN through a cable or satellite provider, or stream it directly through the dedicated DSN tab in the MLB App.

All four games air on the Detroit Red Wings Radio Network. WWJ Newsradio 950 has the Columbus and Pittsburgh road games, while 97.1 The Ticket carries the two home games against Buffalo and Columbus.
