The New York Rangers will try to extend their unbeaten start at home when they host the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday, Oct. 11, at Madison Square Garden. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.

New York has won all three of its home games and enters at 4-2-0 overall. Its defensive start includes six games without conceding in the first period, according to the Rangers' pregame notes. The club has allowed 1.83 goals per game and stopped opponents on 17 of 19 power plays.

The Rangers have finished 15 of their first 18 periods either ahead or level. Sunday's game opens a stretch in which three of their next five games are at home, and they will wear their third jerseys for the first time this season.

Vancouver arrives at 2-4-0 for the second half of a weekend back-to-back. The Canucks lost 4-1 in New Jersey on Saturday and are playing the third game of a six-game road trip.
