Providence Bruins Sign Robert Cronin to One-Year AHL Contract

The Providence Bruins have signed the 26-year-old forward, who put up 56 points in 72 ECHL games last season.

The Providence Bruins have signed forward Robert Cronin to a one-year American Hockey League contract for 2026-27, the club announced Wednesday.

Cronin, 26, is coming off a full season in the ECHL with the Maine Mariners, where he played 72 games and put up 19 goals and 37 assists for 56 points with a plus-13 rating. The 5-foot-11, 198-pound forward has 85 career ECHL games, all with Maine, and 64 points on 24 goals and 40 assists.

The Plymouth, Massachusetts, native turned pro after four NCAA seasons at the University of New Hampshire. He appeared in 129 games for the Wildcats and finished with 29 goals and 32 assists for 61 points.
