Predators Waive Wiesblatt, Assign Seven to Milwaukee

Nashville’s camp roster is down to 33 after seven players were assigned to Milwaukee; Ozzy Wiesblatt was separately reported placed on waivers.

The Nashville Predators assigned seven players to the Milwaukee Admirals on Wednesday: forwards Chase Bradley, David Edstrom, Joakim Kemell, Jake Lucchini and Ben Strinden; defenseman Daniel Nieminen; and goaltender Isak Posch, the club announced. The moves reduced Nashville’s training-camp roster to 33 players.

Forward Ozzy Wiesblatt was placed on waivers Wednesday, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, as reported by CBS Sports.

Kemell, 22, played 16 NHL games for Nashville last season and recorded one goal and two assists. The Finnish forward was selected 17th overall in the 2022 NHL Draft.
