Predators debut Dolly Parton patch on Hometown Remix jerseys

Nashville wore the special sweaters in warmups before facing St. Louis. The team will sign them for a charity auction.

The Nashville Predators wore a gold butterfly patch honouring the late Dolly Parton when they debuted their Hometown Remix sweaters Saturday at Bridgestone Arena. The players took warmups before facing the St. Louis Blues with “Dolly” in place of their surnames above their numbers.

The players will sign the sweaters, and the Nashville Predators Foundation will auction them during the remaining Hometown Remix games. The proceeds will support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library through the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Axios Nashville reported that fans can also get butterfly patches and Parton-themed pins while supplies last. The club said donations for the patches and pins will support the same two causes.
