Penguins assign five to WBS, waive Caleb Jones

Pittsburgh confirmed five assignments to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and placed Jones on waivers for a possible sixth move.

The Pittsburgh Penguins assigned forward Rafael Harvey-Pinard, defencemen Jake Livanavage, Owen Pickering and Chase Pietila, and goaltender Cam Johnson to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Saturday. The club announced the five moves in an official team post.

Pittsburgh also placed defenceman Caleb Jones on waivers for the purpose of assigning him to its AHL affiliate. That move depended on Jones clearing waivers.
